IndiBlogger meets going places
True to its name, IndiBlogger seems to be reaching out well across to bloggers throughout India. Bloggers have always been happy with another platform to connect. Though there are local associations trying to have regular meet ups and “tweet ups”, this one takes the cake. Where do you think blogging events take place in India? Delhi, Bangalore, Channai and Mumbai would be the only thoughts comming to one’s mind. Not anymore.
Kerala and Pune was pretty digestable but seeing cities like Ranchi, Indore and Bhopal, took me by surprise. According to Manish Kumar from Ranchi “The meeting was successfully conducted . Bloggers from Ranchi, Dhanbaad, Bokaro, Kolkata & Varanasi along with host of media personals from different hindi dailey graced the occasion with editor of Dainik Aaj, Mr Balbir Dutt came as chief guest.”
Kolkatta too seems to be waking up to the IT revolution otherwise known for being notoriously against computers in the past. Many cities viz Chandigarh, Hubli, Cochin, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and more could do with more such meets to encourage blogging and startups.
Upcoming meets from IndiBlogger are scheduled to be held in Delhi (04/04/09), Jaipur (04/04/09) and Bhopal (26/04/09). Let the tribe increase!
